AI sales assistant for online stores

Every question your shoppers ask, answered from your own pages.

neb sits on every page of your store and answers in a chat, at any hour, in the shopper's language. It uses your product pages, size charts, care labels and delivery pages. When your pages are silent, it says "I don't know" and tells you what was asked.

The questions nobody answers

Shoppers don't leave over the price. They leave over a question nobody answered.

Somebody is on your product page right now. They like it. Then they wonder about something.

  • "I'm between a medium and a large. Which one?"
  • "If I order tonight, will it arrive by Friday?"
  • "Is the mug dishwasher safe?"
  • "Does this charger work with my phone?"
  • "It's a gift. Can you leave the price off?"
  • "Will this fit as hand luggage?"
The questions shoppers ask, all day and all night.

The answer to most of these is already on your site. It's in a size chart, a care label, or a delivery page three taps away. On a phone, with one thumb, nobody finds it. So they don't ask, and they don't buy.

A written FAQ can't reach every question. Your inbox answers them a day later. At 2 am, nobody answers at all.

Example: the question, the line on the page, the answer.

Your help desk handles the questions that come after the money. This is about the ones that come before.

How it works

Your pages are the training. You spend about ten minutes.

  1. Install it.

Add neb to your store on Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Wix, BigCommerce, Squarespace or Webflow, or paste one snippet into any site.

  2. It reads your store.

Product pages, size charts, care and ingredient labels, delivery, returns and FAQ pages. It picks up your tone, so it sounds like your shop and not like a robot.

  3. Set a few things, then let it answer.

A few minutes of settings, including where to send shoppers when only your team can help. From then on it answers every question on every page, at any hour.

Example pages from a fictional shop: what neb reads, and the answer it gives from each.

Don't take our word for it

neb is on this page. Ask it anything.

This neb answers from this website, under the same rules it follows on your store. Ask it something the site doesn't cover and watch what it does.

Test the basics

Test the honesty

Test the salesperson

When neb doesn't know, it says so and offers to pass your question to the team. On your store, those questions go into your morning report.

The rules it works under

It sells like your best salesperson. It never makes anything up.

Example questions: "I don't know" when the page is silent, a doctor for a medical question, your team for an order.

It will

  • Answer from your pages. Size charts, care tags, warranty terms, delivery cut-offs, all read in full, including the line most people skip.
  • Help her choose. It asks what she needs, then picks between your products. Sometimes that's the cheaper one.
  • Suggest only what's needed. If a product won't work without a part sold separately, it says so. Nothing else.
  • Offer a substitute only when it fits. If something is sold out, it suggests an alternative only if it meets her reason.
  • Answer in her language. The shopper doesn't have to write in English.
  • Give the same answer at 9 am and 11 pm. The same page gives the same answer at any hour.
  • Wait until asked. No pop-ups interrupting people who are just looking.

It won't

  • Invent a fact. If it isn't on your page, neb says "I don't know" and tells your team what was asked.
  • Make up a discount. It shares only the offers you created, with their terms. It invents no codes.
  • Give medical, legal or financial advice. Allergy, skin, pregnancy and pet-safety questions go to a doctor, pharmacist, midwife or vet.
  • Speak for other shops. It talks about your shop only, and never price-matches.
  • Edit orders. It says plainly that it can't, and points the shopper to your team.

You can read every conversation it has, and check each answer against your own pages.

What you get back

Every morning, a list of what your pages are missing.

neb talks to your shoppers all day. Each morning you get a report: what they asked, and what your pages couldn't answer.

A question your pages couldn't answer is a line you can add. Add it once and neb answers it from then on. That's information you can't buy anywhere else: the exact words your shoppers use, about your products, before they paid.

Morning report Example shop

Asked most
sizing on the wool coat delivery before the weekend gift wrapping
Your pages couldn't answer
  • "Is the lining warm enough for minus ten?" (coat page has no temperature rating)
  • "Do you ship to Norway?" (delivery page doesn't list it)
  • "Does the blue come in a large?" (out of stock, no restock date on the page)
Asked for, not sold here
a matching scarf

Even on days when nobody buys, you learn what to write and what to stock.

The arithmetic

How many extra sales cover $50 a month?

Use your own numbers. They stay in your browser.

Your store's numbers

Type your numbers on the left. Results appear here as you go.

These are your numbers and your guesses, not neb results. We don't publish conversion figures, because we can't prove which sale an answer made. The trial lets you see the conversations for yourself.

Four kinds of store that shouldn't buy neb.

  1. Stores that won't write things down. neb answers from your pages. If the size, the material or the delivery date isn't written anywhere, it will say "I don't know." That's honest, but it won't sell much.
  2. Stores that want a bot to say whatever closes the sale. It won't invent urgency, a coming discount, a code, or a claim your page doesn't make.
  3. Stores that need a chat to change orders. It points shoppers to your team. It doesn't edit orders.
  4. Stores that need a revenue figure to justify the spend. We can't prove which sale a conversation made, so we don't claim one. You'll get every conversation and a morning report instead.

If none of these is you, try it for seven days.

Questions merchants ask

What is neb?

neb is an AI sales assistant for online stores. It sits on every page of your store and answers shoppers' questions in a chat, at any hour, from what your own pages say.

What does it cost?

Starter is $50 a month with a 7-day free trial. Pro is $250 a month, for larger stores. Talk to us about it.

How long does setup take?

About ten minutes of your time. You install it, it reads your store, and you go through a few settings.

Which platforms does it work on?

It's built for Shopify first. It also installs on WooCommerce (WordPress), Magento 2, Wix, BigCommerce, Squarespace and Webflow, and on any other site with one snippet.

Where do its answers come from?

From your store's own pages: product pages, size charts, care and ingredient labels, delivery and returns pages, and FAQs. If it isn't written on your site, neb doesn't say it.

What if a shopper asks something my pages don't cover?

It says "I don't know", tells the shopper where to get an answer, and adds the question to your morning report. Write the answer on your page and neb will use it from then on.

What if it says something wrong about my product?

It only repeats what your pages say, and it gives the same answer to the same question at any hour. You can read every conversation and check each answer against your pages. If a page is wrong, fix the page and the answer changes with it.

Will it make up discounts or codes?

No. It shares only the offers you've created, with their terms. If there's no code, it says so.

My customers don't want to talk to a bot.

They don't want a menu of buttons that never answers the question. neb answers the actual question, in the shopper's words and yours. And it waits to be asked. It doesn't pop up on people who are just looking.

Will it sound like my shop?

Yes. It picks up the tone of your pages, so a playful shop sounds playful and a technical shop sounds precise.

Does it speak other languages?

Yes. It answers in the shopper's language, so they don't have to write in English.

Will it give medical or legal advice?

No. Questions about allergies, skin, pregnancy, health, pets' safety, legal or financial matters go to a doctor, pharmacist, vet or the right professional. It still reads your label exactly as written.

Can it change or cancel an order?

No. It says so plainly and points the shopper to your team or contact page.

I already have a help desk. Why do I need this?

A help desk handles questions after the money: where's my order, I want a return. neb handles the questions before it: which one, will it fit, will it arrive in time. That's where a sale is won or lost.

My products are more complicated than that.

What matters is whether your products are written down, not how technical they are. Bolts or perfume, if the spec, the chart or the note is on the page, neb can answer from it. The morning report shows you what's missing.

Can you prove it will increase my sales?

No, and we won't pretend to. Nobody can prove which sale an answer made. What you get is every conversation and a morning report of what shoppers asked. Read them during the free week and decide.

What happens to my data and my shoppers' data?

The details will be in our privacy policy, which is being finalised. If you need an answer before you start, and leave your email. The team will reply.

What happens after the 7 days?

Starter continues at $50 a month. If you have a question about billing or cancelling before you start, and leave your email.

Somebody is on your product page right now, with a question.

neb answers it from your own pages, in their language, at any hour. It says "I don't know" when it should. Tomorrow morning, you find out what your pages are missing.
