Installs on the store you already have

Built for Shopify first. On every other platform it installs with a plugin, an extension or a short snippet. You don't need to rebuild anything. About ten minutes of your time.

Every install does the same two things: it puts neb on your pages, and it gives neb your store key from your neb account. neb loads asynchronously, so it never blocks your page. The steps below are the current packages; the downloads go live with the trial.

Shopify

Built for Shopify first. Theme snippet, about five minutes.

  1. Start the 7-day free trial and copy your store key.
  2. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store › Themes, open the theme menu and choose Edit code.
  3. Upload the neb loader as the theme asset neb-loader.js and create a snippet named neb from the package.
  4. In layout/theme.liquid, add {% render 'neb' %} just before </body>, paste your store key into the snippet and save.

A theme update or a theme switch removes a theme snippet. An app embed (one switch in the theme editor, no code) is being prepared.

WooCommerce and WordPress

A WordPress plugin. Works with or without WooCommerce.

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins › Add New › Upload Plugin, choose neb.zip, then Install Now and Activate.
  2. Go to Settings › neb and paste your store key.
  3. Choose the chat button position and whether neb shows on all pages or on product pages only, then save.

Nothing loads until a store key is saved. neb is not loaded on the WooCommerce checkout by default.

Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce

A Magento module, for a developer or agency. About ten minutes.

  1. Unzip neb-magento2.zip in the Magento root. It creates app/code/Neb/Widget.
  2. Run bin/magento module:enable Neb_Widget, then bin/magento setup:upgrade. In production mode also run setup:di:compile and setup:static-content:deploy -f.
  3. Run bin/magento cache:flush.
  4. Go to Stores › Configuration › OneDai › neb, paste your store key, save, and flush the page cache.

No inline JavaScript, so it works with Magento's Content Security Policy. Not rendered on checkout pages.

Wix

A short snippet in your site's custom code.

  1. In your Wix dashboard, go to Settings › Custom Code and choose Add Custom Code.
  2. Paste the neb snippet and replace YOUR_STORE_KEY with your store key.
  3. Set it to load on All pages, placed in Body - end, and apply.

BigCommerce

A Script Manager script.

  1. In BigCommerce, go to Storefront › Script Manager and create a script.
  2. Set the location to Footer and the pages to All pages.
  3. Paste the neb script, replace YOUR_STORE_KEY with your store key, and save.

  1. In Squarespace, open Code Injection (under your site's custom code settings).
  2. Paste the neb snippet into Footer.
  3. Replace YOUR_STORE_KEY with your store key and save.

  2. Paste the neb snippet into Footer code and replace YOUR_STORE_KEY with your store key.

For a custom site or any platform not listed. Also works as a Google Tag Manager tag.

  1. Copy the neb snippet and replace YOUR_STORE_KEY with your store key.
  2. Paste it just before </body> on every page.
  3. With Google Tag Manager: paste it into a Custom HTML tag that fires on All Pages, then publish the container.
